		DECEMBER 2011 END OF YEAR NEWS The Studio closes for the summer break on 2 December and re-opens 16 January 2012



	In 2011 students from MAS commanded lead roles in feature films. Students worked in England and the USA, as well as many roles in Australian film, television and major theatre productions. Many past students have gone on to work and study at prestigious drama schools including Le Coq (Paris), Rose Bruford School (London), Royal Court (London), Actors Studio (New York), NIDA (Sydney), WAAPA (Perth), VCA (Melbourne) and Ballarat Academy of Performing Arts.

The studio offers day and evening group classes Monday to Thursday.

Private Classes
The Melbourne Acting Studio takes many private classes each week for those having specific needs. Auditions, presentation techniques, drama school preparation and character development are all catered for in these 1 hour sessions.

Audition Preparation
The first impressions you make in an audition go a long way to deciding whether you are going to get the job.

Melbourne Acting Studio prepares actors every week for the audition process before they present themselves to casting consultants and Directors.

Covering all possibilities likely to be encountered, creating interesting and unique characters and preparing the actor to present a top class, professional audition in the few minutes they have available in front of prospective employers is of utmost importance.

Bruce has prepared actors and actresses for major auditions in Australia, and for large international films and stage shows.
